What is Wellbeing Coaching?
Sometimes we can become stuck in an area of life and we do not know how to move forward. This can impact other areas such as health, nutrition and relationships.
For example, it might be that we want to exercise more and for some reason something is holding us back (this was one of my coaching goals!) You might have lots of excuses in your head about this. (I did!)
Wellbeing coaching can help you identify what is holding you back and then make you aware so that you can take responsibility and take action.
Through careful questioning and exercises my role is to facilitate this process.
“You don’t know what you don’t know.” What does that mean? Other forms of coaching will absolutely not guide you anyway whatsoever.
Wellbeing coaching sticks to these principles mainly. However the difference is I can assist you by either making recommendations or referrals at the end of the session.
I will do this based on what you have told me. This means you are not coming out of the consult frustrated because you are struggling to know the answers.
Coaching is best done in packages of care. I recommend 6 sessions as this means we can work through a variety of areas and set smaller goals to help you reach your long term goal.
If however early on in the sessions you do not think it is for you then we can discuss this.
I also offer bereavement coaching. This is an area I feel passionate about. This is a difficult topic that does not always feel comfortable discussing. However through coaching you are heard and given space to talk. This can have a powerful effect and really help you understand and move forward in your life.
