Hi, my name is Natasha, founder of Arcobaleno Nutritional Therapy. My passion for health and nutrition is the driver for my business.
Food and nutrition can be bit of a minefield so my aim is to (i) increase and improve awareness and understanding of nutrition, food and diet and the role they play in health; and (ii) help people eat a balanced and varied diet that will promote health and wellbeing.
I am now also training as a wellbeing coach with the Chrysalis Effect. I believe that asking the right questions and setting achievable goals and targets can lead to better results. Nutrition, food and health are emotional topics and making changes in these areas can be challenging. My role is to help by offering sensible nutritional advice and to work with you to find ways of making your goals achievable.
Importantly, I practice what I preach.
Who is it For?
Anyone who has a desire to improve their health and wellbeing through diet and lifestyle. It is not for people who want a quick fix. It takes time to make changes and develop new habits. I often describe nutritional therapy as a journey, there are rarely straight lines but once you have started you don’t go back, even if there are ups and downs along the way.
I like to focus on food first. I have a wealth of knowledge on what foods to eat to optimise health and how to get the best out of food. Health starts in the gut, so I always look at gut health. I have worked a lot with children and teens and also specialise in women’s health.
As well as seeing clients on a 1:1 basis, I also present to schools and colleges on various nutrition topics. Once a year I educate groups of 16 year olds pre exams on eating for brain health. The feedback from the children is both satisfying and informative. Hearing stories of children who attended the talks eating porridge for breakfast and enjoying mashed avocado is very rewarding.
As well as being passionate about nutrition, health and wellbeing, I love spending time with my family, walking my dog Darcy, reading books, going to Italy, drinking green tea and eating dark chocolate. My 2018 goal was to go to more concerts – my favourites were George Ezra in the Usher Hall and the RSNO concert playing theme tunes from the movies.
